Moms Beyond The Hit is a community for moms whose kids were hurt playing school sports — and who were left to carry the bills, the care, and the fear with nowhere to turn.
A safe place to vent, to connect, and to find your footing again.
We get it — because we've lived it.
What we do
Moms Beyond The Hit exists so no parent has to sort through the shock, the paperwork, and the grief alone.
Say the hard parts out loud with people who won't flinch or judge. Your feelings are welcome here.
Guides to waivers, insurance, school liability, and where to turn — explained without the jargon.
Meet other parents walking the same road. Sometimes the best medicine is someone who simply knows.
Together we push for safer sport and real accountability — so the next family isn't left behind.
Our story
Moms Beyond The Hit began after a basketball game changed everything for one family — a hard hit, a concussion, blood clots, and a recovery that touched every part of their lives. There was no handbook, no easy answers, and no real recourse.
This is the community that should have existed then. It exists now, for you.
